Packard Museum Ride
This will be a little over half day ride up to the American Packard Museum in Dayton, OH. A beautiful car museum which was initially a Packard car dealership, it has three rooms of Packard automobiles. The car company was in business from 1899-1956. This museum was opened in 1992, and they have one of the largest collections of Packard cars in the world. In 2023 it was voted as one of the top must see car museums in North America.
Contrary to other past rides we will be stopping for lunch before going to the museum.
This is a CLOSED chapter event – members are allowed to bring one guest.
Please arrive with tanks full, people empty.
Road Conditions: Interstate, city and county roads.
Costs: Lunch (9-$25), museum costs: Adults $15, Seniors (65+) $10.
Miles: Approximately 95 miles round trip
Lunch Stop: Jimmie’s Ladder 11 936 Brown Street, Dayton, OH 11:00AM-12:00PM For efficiency’s sake, I will be asking for orders no later than 9/19. View menu on related website.
Break Stops: We will be stopping for ice cream in Morrow 50 miles in on the return leg of the trip.

Note:
1. Please be sure to review the menu. After signing up for the ride, please email me your order no later than the week leading up to the ride so lunch will be close to being served when we arrive.
2. The museum suggests an hour to an hour and a half to peruse the automobiles.
Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member. All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
