Kentucky Challenge Ride

Event date:
Sat, 08/26/2023 - 8:15am

Ride: Kentucky Challenge Ride
Description: The ride starts with about 29 miles of interstate I-71 and I-275 to get to Northern KY. After a short stop to shake off the interstate blues, we get directly to some back roads. The route will cover gently curving country roads with great overlooks, riding ridges and following streams, with many stretches that really twist, turn, dip, and climb with the occasional reverse camber thrown in. If you're looking for a relaxing cruise, this is not the ride for you. But if you want a spirited ride slicing through some good corners, this ride will satisfy that craving.

Road Conditions:  It has been a few years since we have ridden in this area as the rode’s had deteriorated and were full of tar snakes.... well that has changed KY 17,22,10, and 547 have been repaved and the tar snakes are gone!
